Terms of Service

These terms govern use of RentPR, a mobile rental management platform for landlords and tenants. By using RentPR, users agree to use the service responsibly and provide accurate information.

Use of RentPR

RentPR is a software tool for organizing rental operations. Users are responsible for the accuracy of account, property, tenant, lease, payment, document, notice, and contact information they enter into the app.

RentPR does not provide legal, tax, accounting, banking, credit, insurance, property management licensing, or real estate advice. Users should consult qualified professionals when needed.

Landlord Responsibilities

Landlords are responsible for their properties, tenant records, notices, lease documents, payment records, PayPal receiving email, rent deposit setup, and any information shared with tenants. Landlords must comply with applicable laws, lease agreements, housing rules, notice requirements, and payment provider requirements.

Tenant Responsibilities

Tenants are responsible for keeping account information accurate, reviewing rental records and notices, and using only payment methods they are authorized to use. RentPR does not change the legal relationship between landlord and tenant.

Subscriptions

RentPR may offer paid plans such as Basic and Pro. Subscription billing is handled through a secure third-party payment processor. Plan features, limits, pricing, trial periods, and billing cycles may vary and may change over time.

If a subscription is inactive or a plan limit is reached, RentPR may limit creation of new records while still allowing access to existing information as supported by the app.

Rent Payments

RentPR may support manual payment tracking and third-party payment workflows through providers such as PayPal and Stripe. RentPR is not a bank, escrow provider, money transmitter, or legal payment guarantor.

Payment providers may apply their own terms, identity verification, fees, holds, failed payment rules, dispute processes, payout timing, and compliance requirements. Payment status shown in RentPR depends on information received from the payment provider or entered by the user.

Documents, Contracts, and Notices

RentPR can help store and display rental documents, lease information, notices, and reminders. RentPR does not create, review, approve, notarize, sign, or guarantee the legal sufficiency of any contract, notice, reminder, or document uploaded or sent through the app.

Notifications and Reminders

Notifications and reminders are convenience features. Delivery may depend on device settings, internet connection, operating system restrictions, third-party services, and user permissions. Users should not rely solely on RentPR notifications for legal deadlines, required notices, or payment obligations.

Acceptable Use

Users may not use RentPR to upload unlawful content, misrepresent rental or payment information, harass other users, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, abuse payment workflows, or violate payment provider rules.

Availability and Changes

RentPR is provided as available. We may update, improve, suspend, or modify features as the product grows. Some features may be limited during testing, rollout, maintenance, payment provider review, or third-party service interruptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentPR is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, payment delays, failed notifications, legal disputes between landlords and tenants, or third-party provider issues arising from use of the service.
